Atlanta Travel Writer, Claudine Williams
Claudine Williams is an Atlanta-based travel writer with 20 years of  content experience. The  New York Times, the Miami Herald, the St. Petersburg Times, Landmark Communications newspapers, Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, and the Huffington Post are just a few of the publications that have carried her work.
Prior to becoming a travel writer in Atlanta, Claudine Williams wrote about topics ranging from crime, and education news, to articles about community businesses. She worked as a staff reporter for newspapers in the Southeastern United States, including the Star News, a New York Times Regional newspaper, the News and Record in Greensboro North Carolina, the Roanoke Times and World News in Roanoke, Virginia, and the Virginian Pilot, in Norfolk, Virginia. Claudine Williams worked as an education reporter for the Marietta Daily Journal in metro Atlanta. As an education reporter, she wrote about initiatives, challenges, and the administration of the 90+ schools in Cobb County, Georgia.
Claudine  first realized that she enjoys international travel after her first trip to Europe. She has since traveled to several other countries, including South Korea, where she lived, taught English, and worked and chronicled her adventures.
To prepare for her career as a travel writer in Atlanta, Claudine Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a focus on magazine journalism, Â and to nurture her interest in online publishing, she returned to college and earned master’s degree in Information Design and communication from a state university in metro Atlanta. Her master’s degree focused on writing, editing, and digital design for online publications. She completed a portion of her studies for her master’s degree in Ghana, West Africa.
